(Sergey Maximishin, 24 August 2021) Pirat[e] copy of the portrait of the poet Nikolai Nekrasov by Wesenberg & Co, 1890s The original portrait was taken by Charles Bergamasco in 1870s. Taking advantage of the imperfection of the Russian legislation, the Wesenberg & Co atelier had been parasitizing of famous photographers for almost three decades. On the back there is an interesting advertisement in my imperfect translation.
