Celebrity portraits. His color and black & white studies of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo taken in the 1930s are extraordinary. The photographs of Frida Kahlo were found in three old suitcases in a shed in Moab (USA) by his children Mimi (Muray) Levitt and Chris. Although the Frida photographs may prove to be the most famous of his images he took tens of thousands of other celebrity portraits.
