Photograph Inscribed and Signed, "G.A.C." twice, in ink and pencil, an albumen print, group portrait [by Orlando S. Goff], showing Custer and the officers under his command, including their wives. On the mount below the image, Custer has written, in ink, the name of each person in the group, adding, in pencil, "Names written in the order of the persons in the picture. G.A.C." On the verso, in pencil, he notes "Our house at Fort Lincoln, Dakota." [Fort Lincoln, ND, November 1873]
