The Armenian Genocide, also known as the Armenian Holocaust, was the Ottoman government's systematic extermination of its Armenian minority from their historic homeland. Between 1915 -1916 an estimated 300,000 - 1,5 million people died. Historic photographs of this tragedy are extremely rare.
