Mary Ellen shoots often with 20x24 Polaroid was gracious with her time. She came to the 20x24 studio in New York for her portrait. Since she has so many amazing images, I was unsure of which she would choose to hold. This shot of the elephant trainer from her Indian Circus series has always been a favorite of mine, and I was pleased to watch her unwrap it when she arrived. She told me that some of her other work was "too heavy" and this image was a "happy" picture. She has a strong presence both behind and in front of the camera, this was the second of two images we made. 20x24 Polaroid camera with the help of Jen Trausch.
