Daguerreotypist in London who took two images of the Chartist meeting on Kennington Common in London in 1848 which are part of the Royal Photographic Collection at Windsor (UK). His Daguerreotype portraits are noted for their painterly quality and their high quality coloring. Between 1846 and 1852 he took portraits of the British Royal family as they were enthusiastic supporters of early photography,
