This exhibition will expand to provide a series of examples of the different photographic types commonly used in the 19th century. It currently includes:
- Daguerreotypes (including stereo, painted and jewelry)
- Ambrotypes (including hand-painted)
- Calotypes (including tinted)
- Carte de visite (Including uncut sheets, backs, tinted)
- Cabinet cards (Including tinted, stereo, advertizing, backs)
- Tintype (including Neff, painted)
- Albumen prints (including mammoth, tinted)
- Cyanotype
- Woodburytype
- Photogravure
We welcome other examples that highlight different types.
