Broadway. Started as book printers &
publishers, became one of first sellers & makers
of stereos in U. S.; issued views under this
label only in 59 and early 60; afterwards either
used N.Y. Stereoscopic Co. label or were outlet
for them (relationship not clear). Sold many
imported views. Views are on SCMs; issued paper
stereoscope packets ~59 with 12 views each,
incl. NYC, Great Eastern, etc.; "Gems of
American Scenery"; views of arrival of Prince of
Wales in NY, 60; "White Mountain Scenery" to
#208; "Views of Boston & Vicinity", to #163;
"Staten Island, Tompkinsville" un-numbered, 4
reported on SCMs; some series have B/L. Issued
some photomechanical reproduction views, source
not certain but prob. German. No relationship
