Stereographs project Business locations New York City, NY, US *"Publisher of American and Foreign Stereoscopic
Views (At Wholesale Only)"; "Manufacturers of
Stereoscopes with recent improvements";
"Manufacturers of Patent Combination, Stereo &
Graphs". Important early producer & marketer of
views; seem to have taken some of own photos but
mostly bought or pirated from others. Dozens of
series: "Oil Region Views"; "Central Park, NY,
1st Series, 1866"; "Central Park, NY 2nd Series,
1868"; "Union Pacific R.R. Stereoscopic Views";
offered a line of 50 different views of
Yosemite, negs. prob. from the J.S. Moulton Co.,
~80s; issued wide variety by other makers,
Anthony, etc.; many B/Ls, ~4,000 views, national
in scope; scenery, genre, comics, animals/birds;
pub. ~100 Anthony views of the civil war without
attribution; also sold views from Europe such as
