Fine Art Co. in Portland & Spokane 80s-90s,
produced ~900 views on gray curved mts. but most
are scarce; issued some images also as postcards
either stereo or SI; made extensive WA & OR
scy., ~50 Yellowstone, several of ID; mostly
emphasized outdoors; rivers, bridges, parks,
farm scenes, flood, river steamers, but also
activities such as Christian Endeavor mtg. in
Seattle, Chinese New Year in CA, Alasta-Yukon
expo. One of the last small, independent stereo
producers. B. upstate NY 73, went to midwest
00, attended Univ. of SD, to WA about 00 in
mining, got into photog. & came to Spokane 03;
in 05 covered the Lewis & Clark expo in Portland
in stereo. Continued work in OR & CA, eastern
WA & ID in 06-09, made ~40 of Yosemite. Was
western agent for Am. Stereoscopic Co. of NYC &
sold views from many companies. Gave up photog.
13, built boats, D. 23. Listed in Portland 90,
