Born St Andrews, the son of Thomas Rodger, a pioneer Scottish photographer who had established a studio in St Andrews in 1849.[1] T.R.R. moved to Edinburgh, married (Jessie), later moved to London. Photographer, 4 Coburg Place, Bayswater, London, 1884. Went to India, c. 1884, and in 1885 is listed as assistant to G.W. Lawrie in Lucknow. Appears to have returned to England in about 1887 and later practised as a commercial photographer in North London.
