Born in Germany in 1908, Morrison spent most of he working life in Asia. She travelled extensively through China and Sarawak, photographing the people, cultures and environments, and documenting everyday life and the changes in these societies. In her view profiles Morrison's life and presents a unique collection of her striking images. Published to coincide with the exhibtion of the same name at the Powerhouse Museum, 1993.
