If you have any news items for possible inclusion send them through including press releases on exhibitions and new appointments of curators and staff. This is the first tentative test of a host of new
facilities that are in preparation for the community.

We are delighted to announce a new version of Luminous-Lint that includes many of the features you have asked for.

Thanks to everybody who has assisted with interviews and testing - your support is wonderful and
helps us build better resources for the whole community of those that love photography. Your enthusiastic comments on these
improvements are much appreciated.
As always, we want to hear from you about what else we can add and we are now getting ready for MyLint

PROGRESSING WELL...
The test version My Lint is developing well and we are already well into creating an amazingly useful resource for you. Thanks to all those who have been providing ideas for what you would like and as soon as we have a version ready for testing we‘ll let you know.
My Lint will be all about you - and send through your suggestions for tools you would find useful and we‘ll try to oblige. There will be exciting news on this in future so keep watching... |

What‘s New on Luminous-Lint |
Jim Alinder (1941, 31 March - ) was born - US, CA, Glendale. American photographer of everyday life. He was also involved in the organization ‘Friends of Photography‘.
Jim Bengston (1942, 31 March - ) was born - US, IL, Evanston. America photographer who takes the landscapes of Norway.
Gisèle Freund (1912, 19 December - 2000, 31 March) died. German and French photographer and writer noted for her portraits.
Paul Strand (1890, 16 October - 1976, 31 March) died. American photographer who started out as a pictorialist but who evolved into a modernist as his social concerns developed. He produced books based upon his extended visits to Italy, Egypt, Ghana and the Outer Hebrides. |
