NEW ONLINE EXHIBITIONS
The following exhibitions have been added to Luminous-Lint with the assistance of collectors, photographers, galleries and public institutions in the last two weeks:
Themes
- Abstract: Distortions this is in addition to the other exhibitions on abstraction already on the website. Exhibitions on "Multiple exposures" and "Solarization" are also in planning so if you have examples or suggestions for photographs that should be included let me know.
- Still life: Eggs - Thanks to everybody who participated with this exhibition and we are still seeking 19th century examples to add in. Thanks also to Vik Muniz who brought the following book to my attention - Michele Auer & Jean Streff, 1999 Histoires d‘Oeufs: A travers 300 Photographies de 1840 a Nos Jours (Ides et calendes) [ISBN: 2825801410]

Helmut Gernsheim (1913, 1 March - 1995, 20 July) died. Historian and collector of photography. He was also a photographer. |
