David Burnett (1946, 7 September - ) was born - US, UT, Salt Lake City. Worked for ‘Time‘ and LIFE before co-founding ‘Contact Press Images‘ Viktor Kolár (1941, 7 September - ) was born - Czechoslovakia, Ostrava. Ron Reeder (1939, 7 September - ) was born - US, CO, Denver. Contemporary American photographer. Frederick Sommer (1905, 7 September - 1999, 23 January) was born - Italy, Angri. American photographer and artist who experimented with a variety of techniques and frequently used assemblages of material to create sensuously beautiful images of disturbing subjects. José Ortiz-Echagüe (1886, 21 August - 1980, 7 September) died. One of the greatest of the Spanish pictorialists and nowhere near as well known as he deserves to be. Theodore Roszak (1907, 1 May - 1981, 7 September) died. American painter and sculptor who also works with photograms |
