• Appropriation  
    
  An introductory online exhibition of appropriation within photography. It includes photographs of signage by Walker Evans and the appropriation of his photographs by Sherrie Levine, the photograph by Alfred Stieglitz of the "readymade" urinal by R. Mutt (Marcel Duchamp), the photomosaics of Robert Silvers and examples by Robert Heinecken, Thomas Allen, Richard Prince and Andy Warhol. I have included some examples of photomontages used in political postcards as these are related themes.
   
  Given the ongoing legal case over the Rasta photographs between "artist" Richard Prince, the Gagosian Gallery and the original photographer Patrick Cariou this is a timely subject.

• Instantaneous Photography  
    
  An Absolutely Instantaneous Photograph. The Manufacturer‘s Gazette makes itself responsible for this the most amusing, but not improbable, mule story on record. There is on exhibition in New York a photograph taken by an army officer with Anthony‘s instantaneous collodion. An old army mule, condemned to death, was killed by a small charge of dynamite placed on his neck and exploded by electricity. The picture represents the mule standing with his head entirely blown off, and the rope with which he was tied to a short stake in the ground in the same position that it was in when tied to his head, as it had not time to fall to the ground. The slide of the camera was dropped by the same charge of electricity that exploded the dynamite.

• Charitable causes and photography - I‘m seeking photographs in any format that were used to raise money for charitable causes such as abolition, famine and flood relief, war injuries, homelessness, leper colonies, asylums and hospitals. For the kind of photographs see "Charitable causes and scroll down.
   
  
• F64 - As a continuation of the series of exhibition on Styles and movements I would like to do an exhibition on F64. Can anybody assist with this who understands the rights and has possibly already curated an exhibition in this area?
   
  
• Bauhaus / New Bauhaus / Art Institute of Chicago - I‘d welcome suggestions for a curator who might be able to assist with an online exhibition on the Bauhaus or the New Bauhaus (Chicago).
   
  
• Portraits of photographers - We now have 1634 portraits of identified photographers online and many more of as yet unknown photographers. If you can assist with additional portraits of photographers it would be greatly appreciated. All works are credited and linked back. Have you ever attended a workshop or a photo-festival and taken some portraits? If you have I‘d like to hear about it. Perhaps you have some anecdotes to share?
