had exclusive privileges to take views of the
Centennial Expo.,; catalogs exist of thousands
of stereos and other formats. Excellent
coverage from construction period to detailed
images of exhibits. Views were widely pirated.
Wm. Notman, E.L. Wilson & A.A. Fraser major
movers; later took views of 84-5 New Orleans
expo with #s into 1,500s, using same type of
card & format as at Phila.; unlikely that many
negs. were actually made, since less than 200
have been seen; far scarcer than views of Phila.
expo. Cards left over from the expo series were
used for other subjs. such as SC, NM, prob. by
