Stereoscopic photographer, backlists on stereoviews. Active: Hanover, NH
Stereographs project Business locations Hanover, NH, US [7] [Henry G. Peabody, Jotham A. French; Peabody
worked alone in Concord, NH and Chicago, IL,
70s-80s; French worked alone in Keene, 60s-00s]
Issued one set of stereographs, interiors of
Dartmouth College. Seems likely that Peabody,
who later had a long and distinguished career
photog. for the Boston and Maine R.R. and the
Detroit Publishing Co., was the photog., and
French the pub. French may have even taught
Peabody the craft of photography. Listed 75. T.K. Treadwell & William C. Darrah (Compiled by), Wolfgang, Sell (Updated by), 11/28/2003, Photographers of the United States of America, (National Stereoscopic Association) |
