Stereographs project Business locations US [Rec.] Unmounted strips of unperforated 35mm
film held 5 pairs of color transparencies along
the top half of the strip. Five other scenes
could be viewed when the strip was flipped so
that the scenes printed along the bottom were
now at the top. Available samples show some
quite well photog. nature close-ups. The format
may have been intended for advert. uses. Viewers were small, very simple plastic devices
which allowed film to pass through from either
end. T.K. Treadwell & William C. Darrah (Compiled by), Wolfgang, Sell (Updated by), 11/28/2003, Photographers of the United States of America, (National Stereoscopic Association) |
