Stereographs project Business locations St. Louis, MO, US [Rec.] Active late 1940s, early 50s. Issued
scarce sets of 1 3/4" x 3«" cards containing a
single pair of 16 mm color transparencies in the
View-Master format. The cards were produced at
the View-Master plant for Stori-View, on the
same card stock as used for View-Master reels.
Two major groups issued: Bible stories, first
done as drawings, later very well staged by live
actors; same images also used for View-Master
reels. Also, fine group of scenics of tourist
attractions of U.S. & Cuba, done by Howard Butts
and another photog. More rarely, also issued
"Pixi-View" cards (with two pairs of images per
card) in boxed or enveloped sets of 6, for 50›,
of animal views & childrens' stories, some
