Dorian views the world and its beauty as ever changing and feels that freezing an image undermines the integrity of that experience in time. To capture the integrity of this experience, she uses a Twin Lens Reflex camera. The delightful abstract softness produced by her photographic process occurs without any darkroom manipulation. The result if a visually abstract image, captured without any preconception, that engages the viewer and encourages him to look at the world with a different perception. Dorian Romer is a New York based artist, and she received her BFA degree in 1982 from the Rochester School of Technology. Dorian's Type C prints have been exhibited in New York, Louisiana, and Austria. Some of her commercial clients include Windham Hill Records, Lancome Cosmetics, and USA Today.
