rare [2] views of Seattle, steamer, totem pole;
pirated views of Germany and Ireland. He was
the only CA-based pub. to manufacture
international subjects; assisted in the
Marysville operation of J.J. Reilly, 88, and
later that year he took over that
stereo-publishing business; issued many views on
J.J. Reilly cards and in some instances pasted
new images over remaining views that had not
been sold; may have started the Universal
Stereoscopic View Co.
