A Russian noble born in Switzerland who accompanied Grand Duke Constantine, son of Nicholas I, on a journey that lasted from October 1858 to July 1859. They travelled to from Nice, to Genoa, Naples, Palermo, Malta, Athens, Constantinople, and lastly Jerusalem. Amateur photographer De Rumine photographed their travels and described his travel in the Parisian journal La Gazette du Nord.
