Supplemental information

For the past 25 years, Gonzalo has chased "water" throughout the world in its various states. Armed with his Rollei 6006, this photographer has compiled a visually stunning array of images spanning 30 countries including: Spain, Taiwan, Bolivia, and Yosemite.

Gonzalo embraces water as a vital life giving force, noting that our planet has vast amounts of water, very little of it (less than 3%) is fresh water acceptable to support drinking and farming. Inspired by Ansel Adams and Vincent Van Gogh, these Type C prints also create a beautiful courtship between color and land.

A native of Chile, Gonzalo's favorite places are national parks where his images are taken on a 6x6 slide film. Once processed, Gonzalo's work is digitized for conservation and processing purposes.
