Secretary to the Photographic Society of Bengal, May 1856 to October 1856, on a salary of Rs. 100 per month. Resigned due to ill-health and dampness of the printing rooms (in the houses shared by Drs von Liebig and Halleur); duties included printing material for members and for the journal (meeting of 21 January 1857, jnl., no. 3, 20 May 1857).
