Preparing biographies
were attributed to Ledger by his grandson. The majority of them were titled and monogrammed. One album, “A Month with the Camera in the North Highlands of Scotland by an Amateur – August 1854,” contained several calotypes, almost certainly by Ledger. Nothing further is known of his work.
