Studied for three years at the Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy Schools of Arts, Bombay, before becoming Drawing Master at Karachi Grammar School, 1885-c.88; Mechanical Draughtsman, Locomotive Department, North-Western Railway; opened a photographic studio in Karachi 1900. Official photographer to Imam Buksh Khan Talpur, Mir of Khairpur, in 1928. In 1928 the studio was in Inverary Road, Karachi. Also owner of the Adelphi Hotel, Karachi.
