Stereographs project Business locations Firenze (Florence), Italy [Lisson Powers, prob. one of Powers Bros. who also operated in Firenze] "Photographe"; 103 Via de Serragli; made scarce area scy., common & fine views of statuary, most on brown SCMs; photog. Hiram Powers sculpture. Hiram Powers, originally a U.S. sculptor, had been resident in Firenze for some years; one source mentions that a brother made photos of his work but no further info. has been found.
(Alan Griffiths, 22 April 2021) Althrough Treadwell (USA) referes to Lisson Powers it is more likely to be Longworth Powers (1835-1904) and there are three stereoviews of sculptures in the Library of Congress.
