Dates:  1939, 28 September -
Born:  US, LA, Abbeville
Active:  Global
Artist statement:
I'm from Abbeville, Louisiana which is located in the heart of the Cajun area. One Sunday back in 1965, I saw an exhibition of the photographs of Henri Cartier-Bresson at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The next day, I bought my first used Leica at the Peerless Camera store, then hit the streets running. Since then, I've worked for numerous national and international publications, in over fifty countries, and am hopefully, still counting.
