*21, Rue de l'Odeon; 50s made viewers from Sir David Brewster's design, first commercial manufacturer of lenticular stereoscopes. In partnership with Jean-Baptiste-Francois Soleil in Paris, 50s. Successor to Maison Soleil. Pub. lithoviews from drawings (Geometrical up to #40, and various indoor and outdoor subjects drawn from stereodaguerreotypes), with white lines on thin black paper, in the early 50s (poss. to be sold at the 51 London Exhibition ?). Original drawings and dags poss. by Wheatstone & Brewster.
