Advertising his daguerreotype studio at 7 Wellington Square, Calcutta in The Englishman of 6 July 1844, one of the earliest (perhaps the earliest) commercial advertisements in the subcontinent.
Mons. F.M. Montairo, No. 7, Wellington Square, begs to inform the public that he is prepared to take likenesses by the Daguerreotype process. He calls at private residences when required.
