Rowland Briant was active as a photographer in London, England in the 1890s. He participated in the Photographic Salon at the Dudley Gallery in London in 1893, and in the 'Première Exposition d'Art Photographique' of the Photo-Club of Paris in 1894. He was the author of 'Snow as a Subject for the Camera' in The Studio April 1895 (pp.34-39). He was a member of the Linked Ring Brotherhood
