wife. Wide-ranging, views from several towns;
many sold through T. Thurlo of Newburyport, with
their rubber stamp on back. Began in J.A.
MacArthur's Ambrotype Studio, 59; enlisted in
Union Army, 62 and for a time operated a photo
studio at New Bern, NC; returned to Newburyport
65 to work for Batchelder & Clement; bought them
out in 67; relocated to Amesbury 70; returned to
Newburyport 95 where he operated the Colonial
Picture Co. Listed in Amesbury 69-94,
Newburyport 65-66, 72 & 92-00 and Salisbury
