Author of an article On Photography in India,[1] read at a meeting of the South London Photographic Society on 12 November 1863. Does not appear to have visited India, but ‘having lately been occupied in printing large numbers of these very subjects for a celebrated amateur, they have led me to make many observations, which, without seeing the negatives themselves, I should have had the opportunity of doing.’
