Bombay Civil Service 1863. Acting First Assistant to the Collector of Canara in 1869
Bombay Government Resolution No. 1585 of 3 July 1869, records the forwarding by East of ‘three photographs taken by him of a temple and two figures of Budh amongst the ruins of old Geirsoppa in the Honore Talooka of that Collectorate.’[1]
