About the Author
Colin Baxter is widely acclaimed for his distinctive photographs of Scottish landscapes. In the early 1980s his work revolutionized the postcard industry in Scotland and since then he has produced a wide range of other publications, including calendars and more than 20 books. He lives in the Highlands of Scotland.
Book Description
Scotland is blessed with a wide variety of diverse landscapes, which is particularly fascinating given the country's small size. It is a land of contrasts, highland to lowland, island to mainland, east to west. Colin Baxter's "Portrait of Scotland" showcases the best of Scotland from Edinburgh and Glasgow to the Isle of Skye, Inverness, and the Orkneys. Travelers, Scotland enthusiasts, and armchair explorers alike will be mesmerized by these stunning photographs by Scotland's most famous photographer.
