28 Dalhousie Square, Calcutta 1866-83. In 1870 he photographed the arrival of the Duke of Edinburgh at Calcutta, reproduced in the Illustrated London News of 26 February 1870. This is presumably the James Humpridge [sic], proposed for membership of the Photographic Society of Bengal at the meeting of 26 January 1863.[1]
