Benjamin Alfred Haldane (1874, 15 june - 1941, 21 November) died. A Tsimshian photographer in Alaska who opened his first photographic studio in 1899 and it ran until 1910 documenting community events as the Tsimshian adopted Western clothing.
Frederick Hollyer (1838 - 1933, 21 November) died. Hollyer ran a thriving business both photographing works of art and as a portrait photographer. Both pursuits brought him into close contact with the Pre-Raphaelites like Edward Burne-Jones and writers such as Ruskin.
