John Allen (1888, 20 November - ?) was born - Ireland, Belfast.  
  
Phil Bergerson (1947, 20 November - ) was born - Canada, Ontario, Toronto.  
  
Chim (1911, 20 November - 1956, 10 November) was born - Warsaw, Poland. David Seymour. Photojournalist, war photographer and a founder member of Magnum in 1947. 
  
Michael Kenna (1953, 20 November - ) was born - England, Lancashire, Widnes. Hauntingly wonderful landscape images. His 2003 book entitled ‘Japan‘ received rave reviews. 
  
Sir Edward Bosc Sladen (1827, 20 November - 1890, 4 January) was born.  
  
Miroslav Tichż (1926, 20 November - 2011, 12 April) was born - Czechoslovakia, Kyjov, Netcice. Czech photographer with a somewhat eccentric style recording with homemade cameras the women of his home town of Kyjov. His use of strange cameras made out of cardboard tubes and old tin cans along with his poorly printed voyeuristic works has made More... 
  
Van Leo (1921, 20 November - 2002, 18 March) was born - Cilicia, Ceyhan (43 km east of Adana) (now Turkey}. Ethnic Armenian photographer who opened a photographic studio in Cairo in 1941. Since 1998 his 10,000 prints and negatives have been preserved at the American University of Cairo. 
  
Joćo Francisco Camacho (1833, 19 September - 1898, 20 November) died - Portugal, Lisbon. Portuguese photographer. His work included studies of the island of his birth - Madeira. Traveled widely in Europe and the United States. Settled in Lisbon in 1879 where a fire in 1880 destroyed a part of his collection. 
  
Henry Draper (1837, 7 March - 1882, 20 November) died. Son of John William Draper and one of the great astronomical photographers of the nineteenth century with outstanding images of the moon. He was also a doctor like his father. 
  
Hans Kaden (1890 (ca) - 1961, 20 November) died - US, NJ, Paramus.  
  
Queen Alexandra (1844, 1 December - 1925, 20 November) died - England. A very active amateur photographer taking snapshots with a Kodak. 
  
Hugh Bladen Swiney (1843 - 1877, 20 November) died.
