Stereoscopy Private collection of C. Schwimmer Features a brass stand with very heavy solid brass vertical member Burl wood finish with turned wood lens hoods. Hinged door with mirror on its underside, and ground glass rear panel. Lens board hinges open after releasing a latch button, presumably to clean rear side of lenses. Latch on side of stereoview entry slot to retain slides in place. A bone or ivory circular disk on the underside of the viewer engraved and paint filled labels the maker and address. Has Plano-Convex lenses.
