Photographs Of Railway Accidents. It is now by no means an uncommon custom, on the occurrence of a railway accident, to take photographs of the scene of the disaster, and of the exact position of train, and carriages, and debris, to enable juries and the government inspector to arrive at a clear comprehension of the catastrophe. On the occasion of a late fearful accident on the North Kent Railway, photographs of the line and signal posts, with the position of the trains that came into collision, were taken by Mr. Beard, and tended most materially to elucidate the cause and effect of the disaster.
