Carte de visite The Indiana Album Inc. Handwritten on verso: "Logansport, Cass Co. Ind. Apr. 24th 1882. N. Donaldson, artist. A little bit of history - this is the picture of Unkle [sic] John Ball from a painting. He was born in Bucks Co. Pa. in about the year 1750 I think. Was a brother of my father Jesse Ball, he was born in 1756. The two emigrated to Fayette Co. Pa. in about 1800. John Ball died there; Jesse Ball died in Washington County Pennsylvania in 1827."
