A rare original document by Tabard which was shown at the Chicago exhibtion 1948. Tabard constructs and discusses a photograph by Cartier-Bresson ("Mariage à Joinville-le-Pont, France", 1938) showing the geometric structure of his photographs. Tabard argues that they are not only humanitarian documents but also geometric constructions. - Slight traces of use, otherwise in good condition. With: A later gelatin silver print of Henri Cartier-Bresson's "Mariage à Joinville-le-Pont, France" (1938) with Tabard's stamp on the verso and several newspaper articles on the subject of Tabard linking art and geometry.
