A new palace constructed during the nineteenth century, described as the 'new palace of Casr Nasr on the Shubra Road'. The photograph is signed, captioned and dated in the negative, 'F Bedford Casr Nooser Cairo'. The number in the Day & Son series is 12.
 
Acquired by the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII), 1862
