"I had wanted to start photographing Drag Queens, and asked all of my friends if they knew any… I had wanted a personal introduction, but to no avail. Soon, I received a piece of mail addressed to Isis Vermouth. Turns out it was sent to the wrong address and there was a drag queen with my same name ‘Isis‘ living next door! We became fast friends.
