The German photographer Frederick Fiebig took photographs of China, Burma and India between 1849 - 1853. The British Library lists 489 of his photographs taken between 1850-1853 in Calcutta and surroundings. The print offered here is not listed and his uncolored salt prints are rare on the art market.
