Unidentified photographer / artist 1865, 11 April (Patent) Multiple CDV viewer Archives of Modern Conflict OR National Gallery of Canada Multiple CDV Viewer labeled Robinson's Photographicon Patented April 11, 1865, (three days before President Lincoln's assassination). The machine had two rollers holding a ribbon of material to which the unmounted CDVs were glued. Turning the handles exterior to the rollers changed the images viewed through two windows on top. This attractive wooden viewer is 6 1/4" high by 6 1/4" deep by 12" in length.
