Otto Hofmann was a student at the Bauhaus in Dessau 1928 - 1931. In 1933 he had emigrated to Paris due to increasing difficulties he encountered as a member of the Communist Party in Nazi Germany, however, he returned to Germany in 1934 where he settled in Jena for the next four years. The collage offered here is from that period and is dated 1934, Jena by Hofmann.
