For almost 60 years Frantiek Dostál has been photographing the people of Czechoslovakia. His vast body of work is loved for its humorous and poetic style and his photographs consistently convey a certain joie de vivre. Over the course of his photographic career, he has produced more than 20 publications, shown photographs in almost 70 exhibitions, had works in various prestigious newspapers and magazines and become a member of the editorial board at Ceskoslovenská Fotografie magazine.
