Identity badge, back Private collection of Bill Jones Kenneth John Sharp, service # 201 93 93. Enlisted on 1 May 41 in Boston. Completed boot camp at Great Lakes. The 31 Dec muster roll of the USS Wharton, which was at Mare Island at the time, shows him reporting aboard on 8 Dec 41. He was on the Wharton until 2 Jan 45. He was on the USS Vulcan when he left the ship for terminal leave and discharge in Rhode Island 17 Feb 47.
